This EU-funded initiative’s goal is to provide free high-quality, vertically-focused and business-oriented services tailored to the needs of European eHealth SMEs and stakeholders.

eHealth Hub is an initiative that delivers free business support to digital health companies in Europe. “We are a team of high qualified professionals specialized in business assistance from nine organizations. We know how to do it and have access to key stakeholders that SMEs need to get in touch with are. Together, we are one of the biggest eHealth network in Europe. That’s our main added value”, says Jorge González, eHealth Hub coordinator. 

This EU-funded initiative’s goal is to provide free high-quality and business-oriented services tailored to the needs of European eHealth SMEs and stakeholders, including healthcare providers, investors, insurers, pharma and medtech organizations. 

eHealth Hub offers eight services under four support areas: Business Modelling, Access to Private Finance, Commercialization,  Legal & Regulatory guidance. With a view to supporting as many companies as possible, the project organizes events across  Europe.

Business Model Clinic

The Business Model Clinic service will provide on line personalised coaching to sixty early stage startups focused on team and  business proposition. At the end of the service startups could move to the Lean Startup Academy.

The coaching will be split in three consecutive sessions.  The selected companies should be committed in the process and be able to fill in a LEAN Canvas for business modeling,  clearly presenting current internal and external partners of the project.

 

Lean Startup Academy

The Lean Startup Academy is a specific training programme providing eHealth SMEs with the opportunity to mature their business by systematically testing their ideas against the market. During the training the lean startup approach and methodology is adapted to specific participants’ needs, including expert one-to-one coaching. 

Lean Startup Academy takes place in different European countries, in partnership with key international events in the eHealth sector.

 

Investment Readiness 

eHealth Hub Investment Readiness is a training program designed to prepare European early-stage startups and SMEs within the eHealth sector to approach and collaborate with investors. 

Focusing on Traction, Team, Market, Model, Product, Advantage, it consists of four weeks on line support and one face-to-face event linked to the project’s Pitch Events. Here entrepreneurs present their solution in front of the most active investors at the eHealth Hub Pitch Competition events.

 

eHealth Hub Platform 

eHealth Hub Platform is an on line tool that maps the ecosystem of SMEs, investors, legal, regulatory and other service providers active in digital health. It provides relevant information about what each stakeholder offers or is looking for, in a way that is easy to filter by geography, keyword or other criteria.

 

Solution Match

Solution Match is a personalized service for healthcare providers, insurers, pharma or medtech companies looking for a concrete digital health solution and ready to implement it in their organization. This service helps them to: clarify their needs and requirements; research available solutions developed by European SMEs; pre-select the best matching solutions and invite them to pitch during live events, facilitating introductions & networking. 

Solution Match specifically focuses on engaging healthcare providers, insurers, pharma and medtech companies and accelerating commercialization. It also benefits European eHealth SMEs by connecting them to key potential customers.

 

eHealth Roadshow

eHealth Roadshow is a public session in which selected companies expose their digital health solutions in 5-minute pitch presentations in front of potential clients and procurement executives on the demand side.

Organized in several locations throughout Europe as satellite events of major eHealth conferences, eHealth Roadshows address eHealth SMEs headquartered in Europe, with the aim of offering them an opportunity for targeted networking with the demand side stakeholders.

 

Legal Network 

The eHealth Hub Legal Network offers good quality, affordable legal advice for eHealth SMEs, related to sector-specific challenges.

SMEs submit enquiries to the legal service, which will assess their needs and guide them to an appropriate legal expert within the Network who may be able to help with paid-for legal assistance. Selected legal advisers are specialized in those areas SMEs require assistance with. 

The eHealth Hub legal network is open to all European legal specialists in Europe, helping eHealth SMEs. eHealth Hub also delivers free workshops detailing the current legal topics of interest to eHealth SMEs.

 

Regulatory Network 

eHealth Hub Regulatory Network helps eHealth SMEs to meet regulatory requirements and develop reimbursement strategies across the EU to commercialize innovative medical devices.

SMEs submit enquiries to the regulatory service team, which will assess their regulatory needs and guide them to an appropriate expert in medical device related regulatory or reimbursement issues. Specialised experts may be able to help with paid-for assistance in CE certification and/or reimbursement.

The eHealth Hub Regulatory Network is open to all European regulatory and reimbursement specialists, helping eHealth SMEs. eHealth Hub also offers free workshops detailing current regulatory and reimbursement issues of eHealth SMEs interest.
